Telcor has participated in many consulting projects with different approaches such as: Voice networks consulting projects, Data Communications, Marketing on telecommunications businesses, Training Programs design, etc.
Just to mention some of the major consulting customers that have been a definite success are:
NORTEL
PEMEX (the national petroleum company of Mexico) built its ISDN network and Nortel contracted Telcor to design, develop contests and material and deliver to the user a training program that consisted in:

Train the trainerFor Nortel, Telcor designed and customized training programs for sales personnel and Resellers, Canadian training programs for traffic design and comprehension, Telcor also adapted U.S. training programs for Mexican Transmission and signaling, digital and analog environments.
BELLCORE
When Mexico came into the interconnection process; Telmex (The major telephone company of the country) bought a system to receive requests for access services from the new Long Distance Companies participating in this process.
Due to this, Bellcore subcontracted Telcor, we were responsible for adaptation, translation and delivering training programs for application systems to facilitate interconnection procedures between New Competitive Carriers and the established operator.

One of the major wine and liquor manufactures in Mexico decided to build its private voice and data Network and contracted Telcor to design, supervise and coordinate the implementation of the Network.
On the other hand Telcor made an implementation of an on-line audiotext system for the sales force.
Telcor designed and supervised the configuration and installation for this winery and liquor factories for its National Voice and Data Satellite Network.
JOHNSON WAX
Telcor managed the construction of the Mexican side of the global voice and data international Network for Johnson Wax. Telcor was responsible for the fulfillment of the service and for equipment providers in order to guarantee the configuration and functions to comply with customer expectations.
PEMEX
Telcor designed and delivered a train the trainer program as well as end user training program for the ISDN Pemex Network.
Telcor designed the layout for the attendant console position equipment and also designed and delivered the training program for the attendant console operators.
Telcor also designed and delivered the quick reference guide and the training program for the voice mail end user applications.
BANCOMER
This customer happens to be the second major bank in Mexico. Design of the system to verify the bill received from the telephone company to check the charges against the actual services in use.
GRUPO GEO
For the major home developer of low income housing communities in Mexico, Telcor acted as the consulting entity for the design and configuration and testing for its National Voice & Data Frame Relay Network. Also, we advised them on the best equipment available for this project.
