Our technical translation division acts more as a consulting advisor than a simple translator, because not only translation resources are used and involved, but a consultant specialist is responsible of reviewing and giving permanent support to this department. This consultant can be a voice, data, signaling transmission, regulations, marketing expert and/or several experts can be involved depending on the requirements of the translation project. Translations are done from English-Spanish and Spanish-English. In cases where there's a need for simultaneous translation for training services, we provide the necessary elements (simultaneous translator, equipment, etc.).

To meet customer needs, Telcor agrees to sign a nondisclosure agreements for those documents that need to be confidential.

For Telefonos de Mexico, Telcor has translated several documents, technical as well as legal, from ENGLISH to SPANISH and viceversa, in various areas of the organization; documents related to telecommunications, marketing telecommunications and business in general.

Telcor has participated with Bellcore in several projects as a consultor/translator/trainer.

Telcor is often subcontracted by Bellcore for translation jobs in Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries such as (Spain, Guatemala and Argentina). Telcor also has done simultaneous translation jobs on presentations and training programs, as well as training in Spanish for their clients.

In the interconnection process that the Mexican Telecommunications environment has gone through, a lot of information has been generated.

Because of the relationship that exists between SBC and Telmex. SBC has been involved and so TELCOR has been required to translate (SPANISH-ENGLISH, ENGLISH-SPANISH) a large quantity of technical documents relating to those areas that SWBC is involved in.
